The tension in the air was thick as the Ashwood pack gathered near the old mill on the edge of town, a location they had chosen for this critical meeting. Noah’s face was a mask of calm determination, but I could sense the underlying worry in his eyes. Noah turned to the pack, his voice low and steady. “Remember, our goal here is peace. We don’t want bloodshed. If they attack, defend yourselves, but do not engage unless absolutely necessary. We need to show them that we’re not the monsters they think we are.”
