After Jane contemplated for a while, she instructed her driver, “Mr. Marshall, drive me to Riverbank Cafe.”
She arrived at the cafe at a little over 7 p.m. Then she ordered a cup of coffee and sat by the window to observe any suspicious people. However, her efforts were futile.

She picked up the call without hesitation. “Where are you?”
“Go to the cashier. She’ll give you something.”

The disconnect ringtone interrupted her, and she nearly smashed her phone with rage.
