401 Lost connections
"Caden!" Aiden's voice called as he shook his brother from sleep. "Wake up."
"Oh, please, just let me sleep a little bit more," Caden groaned, pushing Aiden's hands away.
"Wake up. You will be late for school," Aiden shouted.
When Caden ignored him, Aiden smirked and went to take a bucket of water from the bathroom, pouring it over Caden as he jumped out of bed with a scream.
Aiden's laughter filled the room as Caden began to chase him around and out into the hallway. Their laughter filled the house. Caden tumbled and fell as he groaned. Aiden stopped running and went back to him with a worried expression.
The sun's rays cast a sharp reflection over Caden's face as he woke up with a start. He sat up in a beat and looked around the room in a hurry. He sighed, then realized.
It was only a dream. There was still no trace of his brother anywhere.
