159 A RE-MEND
Luke was totally out of breath, but he was pleased by the glowy satisfaction on Isabella's face. The past few weeks have been hell for him. He'd thought it was the beginning of his losing everything. Pulling them both away from the door, he headed straight for their bed. He laid her down first, then pressed a soft kiss to her lips before getting in and stretching himself. She'd worn him out, and he loved it.
"I know you are not about to go to sleep right now; we agreed to talk!" He'd completely forgotten about that. "All right, let's hear it." He let out a soft chuckle when she paused to clear her throat in a business-like manner. "I need us to stop fighting."
"Me too, baby, me too. But unfortunately, needing something to stop doesn't automatically make it stop," he replied, folding his hands behind his head.
"I know, and that's why I think we should see someone."
He turned his head toward her and stared at her for a few seconds before reaching out and pulling her into his chest. S
