Wedding Bells

Eternity's pov I glanced at her, and her face lacked the glimmer that every girl's face has at her wedding; her hopes had been destroyed. I looked at me. I'm wearing a lovely lace off-shoulder bridal gown. But my eyes are still swollen from sobbing all night. I used a lot of bb cream, concealer, and foundation to mask my tired face, but I still look like a crying mess. Since childhood, I've had a lot of wedding fantasies, as my maternal grandma used to say. Marriage isn't something you wear on your finger or sign on a piece of paper. It should be relished rather than endured. It's the coming together of two hearts that beat as one, each willing to make sacrifices for the happiness and well-being of the other. Marriage is so lovely that it would be a blooming rose in the natural world, with its dazzling petals permitted to unfold in the warm sunlight. Maybe that's why we offer roses to the people we care about and include them in our holy couplings so frequently. Marriage is a gift we offer to one other, a lifelong link between soul mates. However, things are different in my situation. My soulmate isn't getting married to me. I'm being married to Aaron Knight, the Devil, and we'll never be one since I've always been a lone wolf. He despises me because he only cares about his success, his name and celebrity, and his multibillion-dollar firm's profits because he believes I'm a traitor who might jeopardise his company and reputation. Flashback "You," he yelled, and I jolt back a little at the sound of his voice. "I'd want to speak with her alone," he said, and everyone began to leave. It's just him and me now. He's approaching me now. I bowed my head because I lacked the strength to gaze into his ferocious angry eyes, which appear to burn me. "Please trust me when I say that I did nothing wrong and that I don't even know that man," she said. Tears were about to pour from my eyes, but I didn't let them since I hadn't done anything wrong, I whispered in hushed tones. I've never deceived a friend or a family member. "You know you might be found guilty and spend years in prison," he remarked bitterly. "But I don't know that man. He comes and gives me that file before I could ask. He already goes," I said, feeling rooted to the spot. "Stop lying." I know people like you who don't know anything except to betray people and grab black money, " "He said to me and my heart got shattered at his words." How can he judge me without knowing the truth? Anger flooded inside me. I know you are pissed off because of this data and personal information leak scandal, but no one gives you the right to talk to me like this. I won't appreciate the tone you are talking to me in. I can feel my vein that pulses, becomes engorged After hearing my words, his hands clenched into fists, and he narrowed his eyes at me. Suddenly, he came close to me. He grabbed the wrist of my hand, put it on my back, and twisted it. "Ah, I cried out," due to lack of energy shooting through my nerves. "Don't dare raise your fucking voice on me, or I'll do something even worse than you could have imagined," he gritted to me. A tear rolled down my eyes. After some time, he pushed me away abruptly and I stumbled and slammed on the wall, falling down. "I am prepared to return my complaint and investigation on you," he said, causing me to look at him with a small gasp. "W...... What?" I whisper. "But I have a condition," he said to me. "W.. What is the condition?" I whisper, wondering what it could be. "Marry Me," he said, and my body stiffened, as if I were about to pass out from dizziness. "Sorry, I can't marry you," I quickly said to him. "Well, think properly before refusing me. I knew everything about you." Your parents are divorced; your mother married another man and has her own family, just like your dad. He is also married to another woman and has his own family, and you live with your maternal grandmother, who is no more now, but your maternal grandmother's home is the only place you have as your maternal grandmother's last memory. "What if I burn down that house and auction that land?" he said to me, giving me "Try me," Look at. My blood boils after hearing his words. I felt an increase in my blood flow to my extremities. My hands clenched into fists and I slapped him as hard as I could. "You. How dare you?" He said dangerously and grabbed my arms so tightly that it was sure to leave bruises because it hurt so much and slammed me against the wall so hard that I fell on the harsh floor, crying in agony. "Don't you dare ever lay your hands on me," He snarled at me, looking like he would kill me anytime. "Now listen to me very carefully. You are marrying me and not even the heavens can stop me." He ordered while his chest was rising and falling rapidly with his hands clenched into fists. "Why do you want to marry me?" I asked, still a crying mess. Because I want to keep an eye on you until the investigation into the hooded man who gave you that folder is completed, and I want to punish you. I know you're planning to steal confidential information about my company, but prepare to face hell now," he said, his muscles and veins straining against his skin. Flashback over The door then slammed shut. Wilber, my younger cousin's brother, who is nine months younger than me, and Olivia, the son of my maternal uncle, visit me. Olivia's eyes are swollen as well from crying, as I can tell. She encircled me and shut off my air supply with her arms. "I'm going to miss you so much, Eter," she whispered, her watery eyes blinking incessantly. I looked down at my hands and responded, "Me too." "Eter, because you're marrying Aaron, does that imply you're forgetting about "him?" she said, and my heart missed a beat. I've avoided thinking about him for all these years. Eliot, I've had a crush on him since high school, but things changed after that horrible recollection, but I'll never forget him; he was my first and final love. Then Wilber, my cousin's brother, approached me and hugged me, saying he didn't know anything about the forced marriage and that if he did, he would do anything to prevent it because he is my overprotective brother, but I have no choice but to marry him to preserve the last memory of my beloved grandmother. "I can't believe my boo-boo has grown up when my little sister becomes 21 and is getting married," he remarked, cupping my face.  ************************* I felt a churning in my stomach and felt like my insides were vibrating as I gripped the bouquet and clutched the arm of my Brother Wilber tightly. We enter the eternal and artistically furnished aisle of the church, which is adorned with white flowers and light pink tulips and seems like heaven. And I saw him, my soon-to-be husband, that devil He is so handsome and beautiful in his crisp blue wrinkle-free Armani suit, his dark black hair is styled back perfectly, and his powerful jaw is cleanly shaved. But I know the reality of this arrogant jerk for the world. He is so beautiful, of course, he is Multi-billionaire anyone's dream man, but he is a devil in disguise. His gaze was drawn to mine, and I saw that my mouth was growing moist, that my saliva was increasing, and that my breath was becoming more rapid. My limbs tremble. I felt an unusual emotion in his eyes for me as I totally glanced up at him, but he quickly swept it away with his normal icy demeanour. I'm right next to him. The priest began chanting wedding hymns, but my head is too fatigued to comprehend what I'm saying; I've had enough. The priest began "Do you accept the Eternity Granger to be wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or worse, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and obey, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance?" "I do," Aaron said, and I felt fluttering and even mild pain in my chest. The Priest said it again to me. At first, I thought to say no, but soon realised my maternal grandma's house was her last memory. I have My parents are divorced now. They have their own family. So I only live with my maternal grandmother and grandfather. My grandma is no more, but my grandpa is still alive and loves me a lot. I have to do this for their house, which is made from the savings they worked hard for, even though it has my childhood memories with them. My grandma's last memory Closing my eyes, blocking every other thought, I say, "I do." "Now I may pronounce you husband and wife, congratulations," the priest announced, beaming at us. "Now you may kiss the bride," the priest said, and here my heart started pounding so fast in my chest. No, I don't want to kiss him.I tightly closed my eyes. I had never been kissed before. I felt like I would pass out anytime from dizziness. His eyes are also hard, with clenched hands and a flushed face. He also didn't want to kiss me. I can feel his ferocious gaze on me, but there are too many people around. He leaned forward, and I closed my eyes because of anxiety. I felt his lips brush into mine like a feather. It felt so divine. I don't know why, but it pleases my heart so much. He pulled apart from me. People started coming toward us to congratulate us and thank us, but Aaron was standing like a rock. A handsome rock ugh shut up stupid inner voice, he's a Devil. Well, after some time, I realised he was not beside me. I looked around to find him, but he was nowhere to be seen. He introduces himself as Aaron's childhood best friend, comes to me with a beautiful, cheerful smile and calls me a sissy because he considers me as his sister. He always wanted a sister. "Oh, hi Phil, did you see Aaron anywhere?" I didn't find him, "I said to him while looking around to find my husband. "Yeah, actually he has to go for business purposes," Fhil said awkwardly to me, scratching his neck. "Um, it's okay, I can understand," I said to her. Well, what can I expect from Aaron? He hates me so much. "But he tells me to take you to Knight's mansion," Fhil said to me cheerfully. "Yeah, let's go," I said. After saying my goodbyes to everyone, I went outside the church and was stunned to see a Rolls-Royce Phantom....car., "Ready to go to your house, sissy?" Fhil nudged me. After that, we sat in that amazing car. "Um, Fhil, where are Aaron's parents?" I didn't see them at the wedding, "I asked Fhil wondering. Fhil smiled sadly at me and said, "They died when Aaron was 11 years old. He loves his parents so much." This makes me feel sad for Aaron. He lost his parents when he was only 11. My heart aches for that 11-year-old Aaron. "So sissy, what is your favourite color?" Fhil asked me cheerfully. "I prefer green and pink," I responded, gently smiling and staring into his eyes. "What is the same here? I think we are brother and sister from other parents," he said with a wide smile at me. "Yeah," I also said to him with the widest smile. Fhil is an amazing guy. He is his childhood best friend Aaron's. That is because their fathers are business partners. Even Fhil tells me very hilarious stories about Aaron's childhood. Fhil has an amazing sense of humor. I am so happy. Finally, I have an amazing brother and friend here.
