SUZIE’S POV
A gust of wind blew past me, and I clutched my jacket tighter. My eyes scanned the streets as I made my way down it. The sun had almost retired for the day completely, as golden hues settled all over the landscape.
I pulled out my phone and exhaled as I read the text boldly written it on.
“Meet me at the central park. Make sure you’re alone,” I read out loud.
It was a text from Alex. He wanted us to meet and seeing this text make me quite happy. It meant he wanted to talk about what has happened, and we had a change to fix things. The moment I had seen the text, I was out of the school premises and breezing through the streets.
Dried brown leaves floating in the air as they were being carried by the wind. I looked around and saw that trees were losing their leaves. I sighed, increasing my pace. After a few more steps, the entrance of the central park came into view.
