SUZIE’S POV My eyes went so wide, I feared they would fall of, as I gazed at the people that trooped into the cave. They were children, elderly men and woman, and a few young men, but they all looked malnourished. Some of the were missing a limb, while some looked like they had a permanent brain disorder. Some could barely walk, and they limped, while some of them looked so skinny, their bones were protruding out of their skin. It was so bad, that I thought their bones would pop out, and tear through their skin. They all stood beside Geraldine, and they could not gaze into my eyes.
