THE QUEEN LUNA
I walked slowly down the hallway, feeling grimmer. I looked outside the window as I went by, and the dark clouds in the sky mirrored how I felt. For the past few days, the clouds had refused to give way for the sky to shine. It has been grey clouds, and nothing more.
And I knew why.
I sighed, taking my eyes away from the window. I walked by a few maids, who bowed as they greeted. They too, had an air of gloominess around them. Ever since the big battle at the dark kingdom, the air around the whole palace had changed.
It left me feeling a sense of grief.
My destination was in view and I picked up the pace as I walked up to the door. I cranked it open slowly and stepped into the room. Elliot was seated by the bed, and his eyes met him the moment I stepped into the room.
“Mother,” He said as he rose up from the chair.
He walked over to me, but my eyes was fixed on the delicate figure that lay in bed.
Suzie.
I walked over to the bed, and sat down by the edge. My eyes lit up
