Roan Roan was up with the birds the next morning. It’d been hard to leave Sullen sleeping, while he went to take a shower. She’d done a great job at calming his nerves the night before. He’d always heard that mates were good about that, but he hadn’t realized how good. He got dressed, and left a note for Sullen on the bathroom door.
