Chapter16: Suprised

Lucifer was surprised to see Skyler calling his phone by this time of the night. He raised his hand up for Jared to stop talking to know what she wanted to tell him. “ Hello ” he said in his sweet voice. “ Hi....Uhm ” Skyler said. “ How are you ” he said with a smile on his face, even Jared was shocked to see him smiling happily like this. This was the second time for him to witness Lucifer smiling like this. “ I'm....I'm fine ” Skyler said and Lucifer could hear the sadness in her voice and he frowned, the smile on his face fell. “ Are you alright ” he asked. “ Yes I'm fine, I just wanted to apologise for not replying to your text earlier today ” “ It's alright ” Lucifer said even though he wasn't happy about it but as he heard her voice now, he was more than happy but then why was she sad. Did something happen ? “ I...... I ” Skyler wanted to say something but she hestitated. “ What is it my angel ” Lucifer asked, he knew she wanted to say something and he knew what she wanted to say
