"But she broke up with you," Jewel whimpered.
I had to admit. Jewel knew how to act before a man. Her tone of voice was immaculate.
"She broke up with me, but I haven't agreed. Besides, she can't live without me. She's just angry for the time being. It'll be fine once her anger subsides."
I didn't expect that from Chris. It turned out he only took our breakup as me throwing a tantrum. He still believed that I would never leave him.
