I wasn't surprised that he had added me. We were now co-workers and would have to communicate often over plenty of things, so adding each other on WhatsApp would be very convenient. However, I didn't add his contact immediately. Instead, I replied to Lisa's message, but she didn't reply to me. She was probably busy again. I tapped on Conrad's notification and thought about it for a moment before replying, "I've been busy with the amusement park lately. I'll go show you around once I'm done." I followed up with one single word, "Sorry." Conrad replied almost instantly, "No worries. You need to take care of yourself no matter how busy you are, okay?" Before I could reply, he sent another text. "I'll be waiting for you." I was about to reply "Okay", but it didn't seem appropriate with his latest message. So, I instead replied with, "Are you going to be staying for a while?" Conrad replied, "Yes. I won't be leaving for quite a bit." I was quite surprised by his answer. A few secon
