CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE – SKIPPING TOWN
The next few days were a whirlwind of activity. They scoured the town, looking for the perfect location. Finally, they stumbled upon an old, dilapidated building on the edge of town.
"This is it," Lorenzo declared, gesturing grandly at the crumbling structure. "Can't you see it?"
Charlotte squinted, trying to envision a thriving pub amidst the decay. "I see... a lot of work."
"Exactly!" Lorenzo grinned. "We'll get it cheap, fix it up, make it our own."
They met with the owner, an elderly woman eager to offload the property. After some negotiation, they sealed the deal with a handshake and a sizable down payment.
As they stood outside their new acquisition, reality began to set in.
"What have we gotten ourselves into?" Charlotte murmured, staring at the boarded-up windows.
