CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX – THE PUB STAYS OPEN!
As the night wore on, someone suggested a drinking game. The idea was met with enthusiastic cheers from the patrons.
"Alright, alright," Mr. Davies called out, climbing onto a chair to be heard above the noise. "Let's play a round of 'Never Have I Ever.' For those who don't know, someone makes a statement starting with 'Never have I ever,' and if you've done it, you take a drink. Last person standing wins!"
The crowd gathered around, drinks in hand. Charlotte, Linda, and Tony joined in, forming a circle with some of their regular customers.
Mr. Davies started. "Never have I ever... danced on this bar!"
Several patrons groaned and took a drink, including Linda, who grinned sheepishly. "It was my birthday!" she protested as the others laughed.
Next was Mrs. Thompson, a sweet elderly lady who was a daily visitor to the pub. "Never have I ever... been arrested!"
