"Did the doctor mention any possibility of her full recovery?" Leroy asked once he and Zoe stepped out of Xenia's ward.
Surprised, Zoe answered, "He mentioned that the patient will have scars riddling her body. Thank goodness her face is left unharmed. That's the only silver lining in this tragedy."
She then stared at Leroy curiously. "Don't tell me you plan to save her. That woman's fine—you don't have to pay her that much attention."
Zoe began advising Leroy once again. She was worried that more problems might arise should Leroy choose to get involved.
Having noticed Zoe's demeanor, Leroy could only sigh.
"I was just showing concern to a patient. Besides, I'm not a plastic surgeon. I can't do anything about her case at all."
