CHAPTER FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT – THE POWER OF A MEDIATOR
Inside the Bistro, the tension was palpable. Marco paced back and forth in the empty dining room, his face a storm of emotions. Jasmine sat at one of the tables, her hands clasped tightly in her lap.
"We can't let him get away with this," Marco muttered, more to himself than to Jasmine. "There has to be something we can do."
Jasmine looked up at him, her eyes filled with worry. "Marco, please. We need to think this through. Castillo is too powerful to confront directly."
Marco stopped pacing, turning to face her. "So what, we just let him continue harassing you? Let him threaten our family, our business?"
"Of course not," Jasmine said, standing up. "But we need to be smart about this. We need a plan."
Just then, the kitchen door swung open, and Antonio stepped out. His face was grave, and Jasmine realized with a start that he must have overheard everything.
"Mr. and Mrs. Cesaro," he said, his voice low. "I couldn't help but overhear. If I may... I think I might have an idea."
