"Hey now, don't be so quick to dismiss it!" Claire lightly scolded as they made their way back down the narrow stairwell.
"Us mere mortals can't be expected to fully grasp the mystical insights of someone with true psychic gifts. We just have to...interpret her wisdom through a more grounded lens."
She tapped her chin thoughtfully as they emerged onto the sidewalk, scanning up and down the busy Village street. "Okay, so...where in New York would fish potentially meet their fate in a way fitting of Zora's dire predictions?"
Jasmine shook her head, already feeling exasperated by this wild goose chase before it had even begun. But she obliged her sister-in-law nonetheless.
"I don't know...maybe a seafood restaurant? That's where fish get prepped and cooked."
"Oooh, good thought!" Claire's eyes lit up with the thrill of the investigation. "That also ties in with this whole 'blood and scales' thing Zora mentioned. Definitely has to be some sort of fish market then!"
