CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN – REUNITED AGAIN
"Remember when that bloke mistook me for a celebrity and wouldn't leave me alone until you swooped in to rescue me?" Jasmine giggled, her cheeks flushed with laughter.
Gordon rolled his eyes, but his grin betrayed his amusement. "How could I forget? I thought for sure we were going to be mobbed by an army of overenthusiastic fans."
"Or what about that eccentric shopkeeper who tried to divine your location with her crystal pendulum?" Jasmine added, her shoulders shaking with mirth.
Gordon snorted, his eyes dancing with mirth. "I'll never look at a crystal the same way again, that's for sure."
As the memories tumbled forth, each more outrageous than the last, the couple found themselves transported back to those heady days in Sydney, their laughter and shared joy a balm for the weariness of travel.
