By the time the next Claire-orchestrated setup came around, Jasmine had mostly made peace with the likelihood that her dating prospects in this city ranged from hopelessly eccentric to outright calamitous.
As such, when her dearest friend announced her latest target with evident excitement, she consciously reined in her expectations.
