‘Enough with the useless chitchat,’ Kieran said. ‘Come to my place for dinner tonight. Ken and Amelia want to see you.’
‘Fine, got it.’
After hanging up the phone, Tristan let out another sigh.
He pondered for a moment before picking up his phone again and dialling Cade Barton’s number.
‘Mr Barton, send someone to my company to sign the contract before end of business today.’ he went straight to the point. ‘Also, text me Evelyn’s address and number.’
‘Sure thing, no problem. Thank you so much, Mr Valentine.’
‘Oh, and don’t forget about the payment you promised her.’
‘Oh, okay! Sure!’

As Evelyn finally arrived at her modest apartment, the first thing she did was take a refreshing shower.
