CHAPTER SEVENTY ONE – TOTAL BREAKDOWN
The morning rush began, and at first, things seemed to be running smoothly. But then a small incident sparked another confrontation.
A customer at one of Mark's tables requested a specific type of tea that they had run out of. Before Mark could explain this to the customer, Greg interjected.
"Oh, I think we might have some in the back. I'll go check," Greg said with a smirk, clearly relishing the opportunity to one-up Mark.
Mark's face reddened. "I already checked, Greg. We're out."
"Are you sure? Maybe you just didn't look hard enough," Greg replied, his tone condescending.
The customer looked between them, clearly uncomfortable. Rebecca quickly stepped in.
"I'm so sorry, sir," she said to the customer. "We are indeed out of that tea, but may I suggest an excellent alternative?"
As she smoothed things over with the customer, she could feel the tension radiating from Mark and Greg behind her.
Once the customer was satisfied, Rebecca turned to face them. "Guys, please. We talked
