"And of course, you'll want to serve our wines exclusively at the reception," Giorgio was saying. "I recommend at least ten cases of our premium reserve..."
"Actually," Rebecca managed to interject, "Luca's family has their own vineyard. We were planning to use their wine."
Giorgio's jovial demeanor instantly cooled. "I see," he said stiffly. "Well, I'm afraid that won't be possible. We have an exclusive beverage policy here at Vigna del Sole."
As they left the vineyard, Rebecca shook her head. "Can you believe that guy? He was practically forcing the wine down our throats."
Nancy laughed. "I don't know, I thought the part where he tried to get you to sign a contract on the spot was pretty entertaining."
Their final stop for the day was a beachside resort that had caught Rebecca's eye online. As they pulled into the parking lot, both sisters gasped at the view.
"Now this is more like it," Rebecca said, taking in the pristine beach and crystal-clear water.
