The plan is. "Jeremy suddenly cough and fell to the ground. "Attorney! Are you alright?"Lara stood up to help him out. "I'm fine. "He coughed out again. "Haaaaa" he lets out a groan. Yomi and Lisa ran to help him up but he pushed them away as he grabbed his head. "What's going on with him?"Mary asked as she watched Jeremy groaning on the floor. "He will be fine, he is just getting another attack," Yomi explained to all of them. Lara tried to touch Jeremy but he pushed her away, after noticing what he had done. He stood up from where he was and ran to the toilet. "Whew, that's was something" Mary commented. Yomi walked to her and grabbed her by the hand. "Something? You think getting reminded that your family died in a fire incident is something! "Yomi shouted. Lisa grabbed him and pulled him away from Mary. "What I said wasn't wrong. Or was it?"Mary turned to ask Lara. "Keep your words to yourself, Mary," Lara replied and went back to her seat. Throughout the flight, Jeremy stayed in the toilet except when it was time for the plane to land, He went back to his seat and pretended as nothing happened. When the plane landed, Jeremy didn't speak to anyone. After speaking with the jet crew he entered the car that's was waiting for him. "Jeremy, what happened earlier?"Yomi asked. "Nothing, I just forgot to take my pills" "You forgot your pills! Are you insane"Yomi shouted. He facepalmed himself and groaned softly. "Yomi, let make one thing clear. You don't dictate for me, you don't get to talk anyhow to me. Why? Because you are just a bodyguard to me!!"Jeremy shouted at Yomi. It was when he calm down that he realized what he had just said. "Wow," Yomi scoffed. "I'm just a bodyguard to you, right? Well, I agree but I swore an oath to my father that I was going to protect you and I'm gonna do that. You can insult me for as long as you want. It doesn't change the fact that you are my priority"Yomi told him and breathe out. "Look Yomi, I'm sorry for lashing out at you. I was pissed off that you see me as a weak person" "Your sorry doesn't change the fact that you always look down on those who care about you. Come off your old shell Jeremy and face the future."Yomi said and faced the window side. He wasn't in a mood to speak to Jeremy right now. "We've reached sir"Lisa announced. She had been listening to the conversation going on between the both of them but she wasn't going to interfere because she knew they were going to sort out their differences. When they got to the hotel, Yomi hurried out of the car and waited for Jeremy to come out. The rest of them had arrived and were waiting for them at the front of the hotel. "Lisa get them all settled in the rooms you booked. I'll be in my room"Jeremy ordered. "Alright sir, how about I lead you to your room" she offered. "No Lisa, I'll find my way. Do what I ask of you. Please no disturbance till further notice cause I need to clear my head" he said and looked at Yomi who was looking elsewhere. "Yes sir" she bowed and walked to the right of them. When Jeremy got settled in his room, he let out a scream and buried his head in his hand. He missed his family so much that's he always thinks he was going to be miserable for the rest of his life. He cried as he thinks about his family, he wondered what Melissa would have looked like if she were to be alive. A knock sounded on the door, he stood up from where he was seating and walked to the door. "I thought I said I didn't... "He didn't finish his sentence because the person he thought was at the door was not who it was. "Hello, attorney" Lara greeted with a smile. Jeremy gave her a long look and wondered what she was doing in his room. "What's are you doing here detective?" "At least let me In first," Lara said and entered the room. "Your room is beautiful" "What are you here for Lara?"Jeremy asked again, right now he needed rest from all the stress he had passed through. "Well, I came to give you this."Lara offered him a cup. Jeremy eyed her as he stare at the cup in front of him. He stared at the cup without collecting it from her. "Well attorney, I know you won't tell me what going on with you right now but I'll be willing to listen when you are ready. This cup contains a tea Katherine used to make for me anytime I'm unable to sleep at night."Lara said with sadness. "I missed her a lot and you guys coming here gave me the strength to be on my feet. I know you miss your family Jeremy but, you can still live your life the way you wanted it to be. I'll just drop the cup on the table"Lara dropped the cup on a table in the room and walked towards the door where Jeremy was standing. He hasn't said anything to what she had been saying since but as she walked towards the door, he grabbed her arm and thanked her. "Thank you, Lara," he said, Lara just smiled and walked out of the room. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ******* "What do you mean KK wife is coming for the funeral tomorrow?" park shouted and threw the wine glass he was holding at his bodyguard who came to announce the news to him. The glass hit the bodyguard and cut him on the forehead. Blood trailed down his face but still, the guard didn't flinch. "Well, find a way to get rid of her"park commanded. The guard bow as he spoke. "Sir, she is being guarded by lots of guards at the grand hotel she lodged into"the guard explained. Park groaned and threw everything that's was on his table away and scream. "Well, find a way to get rid of her. Get out of my sight" park commanded. The guard bow and left the room. "I'll just have to find something to get rid of her"park placed a finger on his chin and think about what to do about KK's wife. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ****** The next day, Jeremy walked down to the restaurant where the five others were already sitting and waiting for him. "Welcome sir" Lisa greeted and offered him a seat. "Thank you Lisa" he replied and sat on the chair. "So guys today is the first day of the funeral ceremony and as we have planned we are going to be supporting detective Lara," he told them, they all listen to him with rapt attention. "Detective Lara will lead us to the venue of the ceremony." "Thank you, attorney. Well luckily for us, the first meeting is taking place In this hotel. The CEO of the park airline is coming to the grand hotel to hold the ceremony at one of the halls"Lara announced. "Well, we are ready when you are ready," Mary said. "Thank you, Mary," Jeremy said and then continued. " Guys I want to apologize for yesterday, I was out of line and I'm sorry for acting that way." "It's an okay attorney. You don't seem like a bad person to me" James commented. "Same here," Mary and Lara said at the same time. They realized what happened and laughed. Jeremy smile as everyone interacted with one another but he noticed that Yomi was not saying anything. He had caused this and he was going to fix it. When everyone stood up to leave for the meeting, he called Yomi behind. "If you call me for an apology then you are only wasting your time," Yomi said to him. He expected Jeremy to shout or say something hurtful to him but what he wasn't expecting was a? hug. Jeremy embraced him and apologize. "I'm sorry Yomi, I was wrong. You are not only my bodyguard but my brother."Jeremy stated. Yomi laughed and punch him on the shoulder. "I can't stay mad at you for long. Let's go meet the others before they think we are doing some bromance here" Jeremy laughed at what he said. Bromance? Really?. Yomi watched Jeremy as they walked to the others. He was happy that Jeremy was starting to grow soft and not like before. The Jeremy he knew before would never apologize. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? *** "Welcome to the funeral ceremony"park addressed the crowd present In a large hall at Grand hotel. The people didn't respond instead they all burst into tears. Park groaned and cursed silently. "Silence!! "He shouted but they didn't listen. "Silence!!! "He yelled and the hall became silent. He cleared his throat and continued his speech. "Welcome once again, I'm sorry for the loss of your families and friend. I wish I could bring back your family but I can't."park wiped his face with a handkerchief that was in his hand. "It's so sad" "Oh please, go straight to the point and stop all this chitchat" a woman spoke from the crowd. Lara who stood beside another detective watched the woman who had spoken, she looked familiar and she wondered where she had seen her before. At the same time, park glared at the woman who had replied to him. His guard whispered in his ears and he nodded at what he had said. "Oh, my, sorry for the chitchat Mrs. Kennedy" park addressed the woman. Abigail Kennedy, the wife of Kenneth Kennedy that died in the crash. With her mode of dressing, one would think she was a normal person and not the wife of a popular CEO in the country. "Well, like I have said I'm sorry for the deaths of your family and friend" Paul continued his speech but then Abigail interrupted him. "You mean the death you caused"Abigail commented. The crowd began to murmur at her words. "Cut the crap park, I know you and the feathers are responsible for my husband's death. This whole meeting is a charade and a mockery to everyone." Paul laughed to cover up Abigail's accusation. "Oh, my Mrs. Kennedy, what's do you mean by that? Why would I set up a meeting if I was responsible for their death?" "Come on the park, my husband told me a lot about you guys before he died. He knew he was going to die. You killed him!! "Abigail yelled and rushed to hit park but she was pulled away by Lara and the other detectives. "Get this woman away from me. She is crazy"park shouted. Lara and the other detectives pulled Abigail out of the hall and tried to calm her down but she continue to the accused park of murder. "Well, I guess this is the end of the meeting. We'll meet tomorrow. Once again I'm sorry about your loss" park ended the meeting and walked out with his bodyguards. Paparazzi rushed at him to ask him questions about Abigail's accusation. "Sir is Mrs. Kennedy saying the truth about her dead husband" "Is it true that this whole ceremony is a facade?"
