Generally, Laura was someone with an even temper—she was willing to wait when the salesperson had told her to.
However, when she noticed the salesperson casting a disdainful look at her while whispering something to another customer, she couldn't shake the feeling that they were gossiping about her future daughter-in-law. She could no longer hold back her anger.
Laura raised her voice. "Excuse me, what's the meaning of this? How could you hide all the fashionable clothes from us and tell us to wait for our turn? Obviously, we were here first. I want to speak to your manager immediately!"
The salesperson wasn't intimidated at all. Instead, she scoffed and retorted, "Let me correct you. I didn't mean to hide any of the clothing from you.
"These dresses are imported from Silverbrook City and cost at least 300 to 400 hundred dollars. Are you sure you can afford it?"
"You're just a salesperson. Who are you to decide what we can afford? I'm starting to suspect that you're hiding these
