In their trans-dimensional state, what had once been Lily and Alexander evolved into an infinitely regressed entity that was capable of sensing the love and connections of every place in the multiverse. They had seen the creation and destruction of all systems of being, aided innumerable cultures, and remodeled reality itself. But, as they were floating in the great emptiness of their combined mind-space, they slightly instinctively – or rather, archetypally—sensed a lack, something they haven’t experienced for the past few millennia. It could only be the remnant of their prior mortality, the faint reminder —the perishable state they ceased to embody eons ago. This made them feel a sense of mystery that was a strange mix of longing and power, which was quite confusing to them. “Can you take it?” The part that was once Lily twitched, stirring through the blended thoughts of the one Maeron had become.
