Jordan had been focused on his work as he listened to Mason's report. The latter's words distracted him, making him accidentally draw a line across the document he was reading.
How could this be possible? Though he hadn't seen Sabrina one last time before her death, there was no denying the authenticity of the death certificate and her cremation. How could things like that be faked?
How could that woman be Sabrina? Even if someone powerful had faked her death certificate, it didn't make sense. She was an orphan and didn't have powerful friends. Who would do that for her?
Jordan threw his pen aside and frowned at Mason. "You should get some glasses if your vision is going bad."
Initially, he'd refused to believe Sabrina was dead. He'd spent large amounts of money and time scouring the world for a trace of her, yet nothing had come out of it. Gradually, he'd given up and started accepting her death.
