Angel’s POV
Whatever, I was a mess now. My clothes were wet and in a mess. Everything was a mess. I guessed I couldn’t think or make any decision right now. I’d better get back to the room and got a sleep.
I walked up the mountain alone, and I would walk down myself in the rain. Not a big deal at all.
I left the umbrella in that hut and opened the rickety door.
However, at the feet of the mountain, a bunch of guards stood in front of me in a line.
Nicholas stood in the lead.
I recognized him at first sight even though he had his back to me. He had changed into new clothes with another black umbrella above his head. Of course, he didn’t need to hold it for himself.
I looked down at myself, soaked wet, and in a mess.
But why was he here?
"The guards are here. Angel, it's not the time," I said to myself, trying hard to hold back the urge to throw my fists at his face.
