Erika’s POV
I shook my head at him.
"What's wrong, Lucy?" The middle-aged man asked worriedly.
I pointed at myself, then pointed at the painting on the wall, and shook my head.
"You're not Lucy?" The middle-aged man asked.
I shook my head again.
Immediately there was a look of blatant disappointment on his face.
I knew it probably wasn't wise to reveal my identity to them now. I was their enemy. But I was desperate to know everything, and I knew instinctively that I might have something to do with the pack, especially the woman in this painting.
"Then who are you? Why are you here?" The young man asked. He couldn't tell that I was the wolf he'd just hurt.
I was silent. There was no paper or pen here. My phone was long gone too, and all I could do was make a gesture to suggest that I couldn't talk.
