Anna POV She cried out in pains and all of a sudden, she disappeared from there. King Aiden stepped forward, staring at me for some time. I picked the arrow from the ground and stared at me. “Looks like the arrow had great effect on the witch.” I said. “They already found a potion which could kill the witch within a second. Marcos had rubbed them on the arrow to kill witches.” He said. “But she didn’t die.” I muttered. “Because I didn’t aim for her heart.” He replied. He grabbed my hand and we walked to the carriage. “Take her back to the castle.” He told the coachman. The coachman nodded and I stepped into the carriage. “Take care of yourself.” I said to him. When we arrived at the castle, I came down from the carriage and went inside the castle. “Milady?” Hannah approached me. “Is something wrong? You came so early?” “The witches attacked us during the masquerade ball. We didn’t get to celebrate with the rest.” I replied. “Where is King Aiden?” She asked. “He is still
