Chapter59:
The bangs on the door woke me. I slept late last night. All I was thinking about was my adventure in the Blue mountains. I was thinking in a positive way. That could be my last journey.
I wiped my eyes. Once I was in better control of my emotions, I opened the door.
Elizabeth outstretched her hands with a tray. I stared down at the French toasts, salad, and hot chocolate.
"I know. you didn't sleep." She walked in the room when I didn't take the tray.
"Have you changed your mind?" Silver asked, she was holding a white towel in her hand and wiping the sweat from her face.
"No," I shook my head.
"Then you're not getting it," Elizabeth pulled the tray close to her stomach.
I shrugged my shoulders and sauntered over to the long couch.
"You can't do this to us," Silver frowned.
"I can do anything to protect you," I muttered.
"You're not protecting us by giving us tons of tension." Elizabeth said, staring at me with annoyance.
