ALEXIS'S POV
"I know that, Eric. Don't worry. I won't go far. The most I'll go to will be the hills to do some sightseeing. The view is good from here, no? I am sure it will look more pretty up there," I said for the umpteenth time today as he looked at me with a weird look on his face.
"Fine, I won't go down the hills and bungee jumping. I won’t think about mountain tracking, let alone jump down from there. Are you happy?!" I exclaimed, feeling annoyed.
"You better not. I am going now. I'll call you once I reach there and will let you know what the situation is over there." Eric said before nodding his head at me one last time and going out of my room.
'Great! Now you and I are alone,' I said to Ariana, who has been strangely quiet since yesterday.
After we ate our pizzas, Eric called Mark to let him know we were in the area, and strangely the first thing that Mark told him was to not bring me to the Council chambers.
