The days seemed to fly by until it was finally time for the summit.
I heard a soft, quick rap on the door and smiled, already knowing who it was.
Just in time, I turned from the mirror to see Shreya bob her head into the room.
"Are you all done?"
"Almost," I answered before returning to knotting my tie.
"Why do you seem so excited?"
She smiled, walked into the room, and slammed the door shut.
"Because I get to see you, I miss, you know, fake hating on each other."
"It isn't fake hating."
"At least not on her own part," I thought privately.
"Pish posh!"
I snickered at the old-fashioned exclamation and adjusted my tie one last time before turning to her.
"I'm serious; she genuinely cannot stand me, and that might come in handy today."
