"Insufferable! Stubborn!" were the two words ringing as I returned to the prairie.
I had reached my limit in attempting to establish a temporary truce with her.
"I don't even know why I bother," I muttered as the freeing smell of wildflowers and poisonous pines hit me.
I returned to ensure we had caught everything the first time we checked.
