Chapter 102: Feelings of Guilt
Having accepted the lunch invitation, Eleanor left Harry and Levi in the hallway. After she left, Levi went to his office, but Harry followed behind, trying to stop him. Levi knew what he wanted to say but wasn’t really in the mood to have Harry jest at him.
At the office, Harry finally got his chance. He leaned over Levi’s desk and said, “A lunch date? Seriously, Levi?”
Levi raised an eyebrow. “A business lunch date, didn’t you get that part?”
“Oh, for God’s sake!” Harry said, dismissively throwing his hand. “We all know that there’s more to it than meets the eye. And the way you were so smooth about it!”
“The only thing about that lunch date is you trying to act like a jerk, Harry. Nothing is going on.”
Harry, however, wanted more. He sat down and linked his hands over the desk. “Tell me, Levi, do you still have feelings for her? You know, I was never in support of how you two parted ways, believe me.”
