Tara thought that once I was dead, Mom and Dad would accept her again. Everything they had would go to her. She picked something up and started hammering one of the collapsed walls. I was stuck inside the debris, unable to do anything as loose bits of cement fell and landed on me. I couldn't even avoid them. Later, I heard a commotion outside.
