Renee gently touched his face with her hand and felt the touch skin. She felt sad for him.She couldn’t possibly imagine how devastated he must have been,waking up to find out that his brother had died and he was left scarred for life. Her heart ached for him.She bent down and pressed a kiss to his face. She wanted to kiss away the pain of his traumatizing past. Renee shut her eyes.She could live a brand-new life with Dante if she could. Just when she was thinking about it,she didn’t expect to hear a low and sexy voice greeting her ear. “Did you just kiss me?” She opened her eyes and saw Dante smiling at her. She quickly sat up.She felt nervous and didn’t know where to settle her eyesight. “No,I…I didn’t.” Dante straightened up and stretched. Seeing her shy and timid,he smiled. He was very happy to see her looking lively again. “You hardly let me kiss you but you just kissed me.What changed?” “That…that wasn’t a kiss.” “Really?Is this a kiss then?”He leaned closer to her and pressed his lips against her. If they have Aurora problems,they might provide Fabiano and Fabiano’s father might come after Dante. The Gallo family didn’t realize that they had guests.They were talking on the sofa in the living room. Aurora had been telling Maria what she did to Renee when Rico walked in on them. He got up in a hurry and called the maid. “Hurry,bring tea for our guest.I wasn’t expecting you to come by today,my in-law.” He quickly gestured at Aurora to leave.He felt Dante and Renee must have come here because of what Aurora did yesterday. Aurora quickly made to run out of the living room but Dante stopped her. “Where do you think you’re going?” Aurora felt immobilized with fear.She looked at Maris for help.Maria quickly pulled her to her side and said with a smile. “Mr Moretti,please have a seat.Are you here to talk about your marriage with Renee?” Dante ignored her and sat down with Renee. He crossed his legs,elegantly. He stared at the three people standing,angrily and then he eyes fell on Aurora. “My wife got hurt yesterday.I came to see the person responsible for it.” When Rico heard this,his heart lurched. “Oh,Mr Moretti.There’s no need to overreact.They’re sisters and they were only making fun of each other.How can that be considered as an assault?” “So she did it for fun?” “Yes,yes.Aurora,go and apologize to your sister.” Aurora was a little unwilling but she couldn’t dare to offend Dante because he was from the Moretti family. Even if she felt he had no solid position in his family,she still couldn’t afford to offend him. Moreover,when she saw Dante’s vicious scar,she felt scared. Aurora noticed Renee radioing her hand and she quickly moved back. “You better not hit me,Renee.Do you seriously want to hurt me in front of dad?!If you touch me,I’ll tell Fabiano about it!He’ll tell his father.He’ll ruin you. She hid behind Rico. Rico was fretful recalling the warning Dante had made the last time,about how no one should hurt his wife. He didn’t take that seriously at that time but Aurora was his favorite daughter and he couldn’t bear to watch her get hurt today. He walked up to Renee and said. “Renee,please talk to your husband,okay?Tell him what happened was nothing.Aurora is your sister and remember that she’s asthmatic,you can’t possibly hurt her.” Dante’s voice sounded behind Renee. “Because she’s asthmatic doesn’t give her the right to hurt people.And today,I’ll make sure she never hurts my wife again.”
