ISABELLA’S P.O.V.
I had no idea that calling him Enzo would have that kind of effect on him. It had just slipped out and I hadn’t put into thought that he could possibly be jealous. Lorenzo was not the kind of man who got jealous of anyone. He was proud and self-sufficient, he knew who he was and what he wanted and he did not hesitate to get it. Knowing that he was jealous of Mac was a shock to me.
I knew that there was something I had badly damaged and I was determined to fix it as soon as possible. I stayed out of his way for the rest of the day because I didn’t want to push him. I spent most of my time with Carmen and Leo. I learned that Carmen was Matteo’s cousin and she was an amazing person. She was patient and kind and Leo loved her which made her acceptable in my books.
