Isabella was the kind of person who was extremely focused. Once she had her sights set on someone, there was almost nothing that could make her stop. It was a good quality to have in moderation but she never did things easily. The ferocity with which she targeted Manuel was insane. I knew it was about more than just a mere threat. Every time I tried to bring it up, she would shut me down and claim that she had work to attend to. I had let it go on for two days but I was determined to get answers out of her today.
She was seated cross-legged on the bed with a laptop in front of her and some books strewn across. I made sure to lock the door as I made my way over to her.
