Chapter 35 She's Going to Get Married
Clinton was brought up short. He stared at Sandra in a shock. He wouldn't believe she would marry Jimmy.
It was crystally clear to him that she had no feelings for Jimmy. When he had big fights with him many times, she was always on his own side."
So how could it be possible that she was about to marry him?
At that moment he was out of breath as his heart could explode.
When your loved one was in love with others, it could be so painful like hell. He remembered that she witnessed the scene when he and Jessig were together. She must have been hurt to death to see that.
However, regret could save nothing, as damage had been caused.
But he would never allow her to marry someone else. If it must be compensated, he could pay back in other ways!
'Do you think when I realized I was actually in love with you, I could still let you marry others?" his dominating voice uttered without doubts.
'I would never let you take her away!"
After the conversation with Dr. Hark about Sandra, Jimmy got the call from one of his helpers at home and then rushed back immediately.
And he heard exactly the words that Sandra would marry him. No matter it was true or not, he was the happiest man in the world.
And he wouldn't mind play the affectionate plot in front of Clinton.
Sandra got out of his arms while he was in a daze. She helped the Helper Li up and then went into Gu Jingixan's arms.
She put on a sweet smile as a woman in love.
Jimmy held her tightly onto his chest. He was actually afraid that she would agree to Clinton.
He knew always how much she loved that man, to the extent of choosing love instead of self-dignity.
Clinton felt his chest was scratched open and he couldn't breathe when he saw them in affection.
Jimmy could read the sorrow behind his indifferent mask. He touched her face intentionally and said proudly, 'Clinton, Sandra don't feel well currently. When she recovers, we will hold a grand wedding. I remember you were bad to her when you were married. You didn't even throw a wedding ceremony in order to make her suffer. But this time you can be assured that what missed in her life before will be compensated."
Clinton couldn't stand any longer when he heard his words. The mask was torn to be replaced with despair.
To love someone could be so painful. To love someone meant you had to hand your heart over. You could only survive if you were permitted, otherwise you would die.
He touched his chest, but failed to sense his own heartbeat.
Jimmy shared no sympathy at all when he saw his tormented look. Such look was found on her face too, but at that time she was even more despair, lifelessly.
Now he hasn't tasted one sip of the pain she suffered before.
Jimmy put on an even bigger smile, 'President Fu, I heard you lost some business recently, I presume you don't have much to do. When we hold the wedding, I will send you an invitation too. Hope you can come."
As expected, Clinton turned pale. His pain was clearly shown on his face.
Jimmy felt exhilarating.
Clinton was weak at his knees. He almost collapsed. He knew he shouldn't stay there any longer. But before he was heading off, he was still concerned about her.
'What illness do you have?"
He recalled that it was not the first time she was hospitalized. If he cared more about her, maybe she could have been cured.
However, everything was too late.
Sandra turned her head to the other side, not looking at him at all.
Her cold voice came, 'I felt only depressed. If only you don't show up, I will feel much better. Have you forgotten that you were the one who hurt me the most?"
Clinton left in sob. He dared not to look back as he was afraid, he would stay if he saw her again.
He tailormade everything that happened now. How could he blame her for being cruel?
Upon his leaving, some concerns showed up in her eyes.
Following his lonely back, her heart was aching too.
She knew how painful it could be when being rejected by the loved ones.
But she wouldn't make the same mistakes.
Clinton left the resort to come to a 24-hour bar, drinking there when he lost consciousness completely one day.
