Chapter 213
Oliver fastened his seatbelt for the second time. The car drove around the front yard three times before heading to the fountain. Grace then turned the car in the opposite direction.
"Stop the car," Oliver called out.
The car came to a sudden halt, and Oliver was once again thrown forward. Fortunately, the seatbelt saved him. He directed Grace to the correct driving route through the roundabout, and she continued driving.
"Stop the car."
The seatbelt saved Oliver a second time.
"Grace, you shouldn't drive in the middle of the road. Stick to one side of the road," he advised.
Another ten minutes passed. Oliver said again, "Stop the car."
The seatbelt saved him a third time. The frequent jolts had started to make his chest ache.
Oliver cleared his throat twice and asked Grace, "How did it feel to drive just now?"
"The road was uneven," Grace responded sulkily.
