Oliver answered on behalf of Grace, "Yeah, it's dark outside, but the parking garage lights are still on. Some people have perfect vision—left eye 20/10, right eye 20/9."
Though he rarely complained, there was a teasing edge to his voice. Yet, his gaze was filled with nothing but affection as it lingered on the lively figures of Grace and Cliff.

Oliver walked to the window, glancing at the newlywed couple in the parking lot. Then, holding their now-exhausted son in one arm, he took Grace's hand in the other and led them back to the living room.
"Cliff's love for sticking his nose into everything? Yeah, that's definitely from you," he said, wrapping an arm around Grace's shoulder with obvious fondness.
