Serena’s POV
I panicked. I didn’t even think about Selena when I ran away from that bar while the blue-eyed man just watched me leave. My heart was beating so darn fast and I couldn’t think straight. I called a cab and told my address while my chest was moving up and down rapidly.
I paid the driver when I reached home and walked fast towards the door of my house but I paused in shock when I almost bumped into someone at my door. My lips parted when I lifted my face and saw a familiar face with a dark expression looking down at me.
“Where have you been?” His voice was so cold and sounded so angry.
For a moment, I felt guilt spreading inside me as if I was caught cheating red-handedly.
