Serena's POV
I looked outside of the window as the rain poured heavily and the wind blew violently. It's been almost a week since I was abducted and I’m planning to go back to work next week. Currently, there's a typhoon and I couldn't help but worry about homeless people and stray animals outside. I used to volunteer to rescue whenever calamity like this happens but now, I couldn't leave the house because of the possible danger brought on by Dan who’s still missing. I’m starting to think that he survived and it scares me. He’s not an ordinary person. He's evil and he won't think twice about killing.
A pair of arms slipped between my arms and waist as a familiar scent of a man filled my nose.
“Tyler…” I whispered as I comfortably leaned my back against his chest and squeezed my eyes closed.
“Is there something wrong?”
I opened my eyes and stared at the window pane. “Heavy rain worries me.”
I heard him sighed. “I’m sorry, I can't allow you to leave the house.”
