I groaned as I woke up from bed and stretched. I couldn't believe that it was morning already. I couldn't believe that I had go to school and deal with the repercussions of my actions last night.
I shouldn't have gotten weak by his words last night when he had assured me that I was the only girl that he wanted. I couldn't even blame him for kissing me. It wasn't his fault at all as he had given me a window of opportunity to back away if I didn't want it but I had barely been able to move because I had been melted by his words.
"Amelia!" Mrs. Barlow called out as she knocked on my bedroom door. "Aren't you going to school?" She asked, interrupting my thoughts.
"I'm going." I said and winced as I got out of bed.
I wished I didn't have to go but I couldn't even tell her that without a reasonable excuse.
I walked out of the room and met her standing by the door. "Good morning, ma." I greeted her as I saw her.
"Morning, dear." She smiled at me. "I was worried when you didn't
