“So, any update on Cara?”
Josh shrugged, settling down on a chair in front of the platter. “Some passersby found her before she bled to death by the side of the road. They took her to some hospital, and the reporters are running wild with the story. Not even one of the Darwin members has made a peep about it. Not even Madam Darwin.”
Diana smiled, “I guess the old lady knows the truth now. That's the thing about truths. It always makes itself known. One way… or another..”
Josh nodded, opening the dish in front of him. A smile crossed his face when he looked back up at Diana.
“And I guess that's why you've decided to try to poison me?”
Diana’s face fell. Slowly her eyes narrowed, “How did you know?”
“I'm not divulging my secrets to you.” Josh chuckled, pushing the plate away. “You are a hypocrite, condemning Cara for what she did, when all you're doing is following in her footsteps.”
