Lucky’s POV
We’re sitting inside the tent while watching the ocean. Damien was behind me. His legs are resting on my both sides while his hands are playing with mine.
I can only feel comfortable and safe when I’m with him. This close. Where I can feel the beat of his heart, rhyming with mine. His hot breath kissed my hair and his fingers intertwined with mine. I want to stay like this forever. I don’t want this to end but how? I’m hiding a painful truth from him. I’m also hiding the fact that I’m carrying his child.
I heaved a sigh. I don’t know what to do. I actually want to tell him the truth but how can I explain it to him? Sure, it’s not my fault. The hospital is the one accountable for what happened but I also need to explain this to his parents and his mother hates me.
I can endure people's bad impression about me but his mother is a different case. He loves his mother so much. And what about Rain Thompson?
