Louisa's POV
A week passed after the catastrophic game night.
I was busy running around like a headless chicken, juggling with three part-time jobs to make ends meet.
I hadn't seen Lucas Sigler. Not even once.
It felt as if he had never appeared in my life.
Whenever I thought of him, my heart would be throbbing.
I couldn't stop thinking of him, so I was constantly in pain.
This felt so weird.
I had never felt so much anger, grievance, and frustration at the same time.
Everything changed on the day when I got the part-time job from the Warehouse.
Every man in Stanton City knew about the Warehouse.
It was like a gentleman's club crushing into a shithole, leaving nothing in between.
I was working as a cocktail waitress, wearing bunny ears and a bunny tail and all.
I earned 25 dollars per hour plus handsome tips by empathizing with drunk middle-aged men and listening to their varied opinions toward faked boobs.
