My bed was surrounded by all the men, each more anxious than the last.
Nicholas captured my hand in his, rubbing the top of it. “Erina?”
I wanted to smack him. I hated how he didn’t call me little one anymore. Was it because I was the size of a hippo? I settled for glaring at him. I was miserable and this was all their fault. Maybe he was upset because I’d declared that he and Norman would both be Alphas to the pack. It made sense to me. Both cared about it, both were willing to give their lives, and both were born leaders. Besides which, both were able to tip me over in a way that no one else was capable of.
“Here, sit up.” Warren guided me to a sitting position, stuffing a pillow behind me. “Here. That better, princess?”
“Idiot,” Jack growled at him holding a sock in his hand. “This is what she needs. Lean forward, bunny.”
