From the moment I woke up in the morning, I felt a nagging in my chest. It was pulling and tugging at me but for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what it was. I thought it had something to do with Jared so I had some men stationed outside his house to make sure he didn’t leave and to tell me the moment he did but it still didn’t feel enough so I put more men in front of my house.
I wanted to stay home with Leindra but I couldn’t. It took everything in me to step out of bed and leave her there. I didn’t know if it was because of the hunters or something else but I didn’t want to step away from her.
Despite that feeling, I knew I had to because there was so much work to be done especially with the hunters and their plan.
