Alexander wielded a rod and struck the men with wild abandon.
Genevieve got up from the ground and pulled her collar together out of fear. Her face was covered in blood, and she looked even scarier than a ghost.
However, her tearful eyes glistened with innocence, tinged with grievance and resentment.
Tristan mocked himself. He knew that Genevieve must now hate him to the core.
Alexander beat those men with a rod in an uncontrolled manner. They were so scared that they fled and disappeared without a trace in no time.
Tristan threw the binoculars aside and yelled angrily, "Is Alexander a snail? Why did he only show up now?"
Ethan pursed his lips awkwardly and said, "Mr. Burtman, you're one to talk. That's your wife we're talking about. You're really good at putting up with this."
Tristan's eyes darkened, and he suddenly asked Ethan, "Did you see a spark near the valley just now?"
Ethan was stunned as he replied, "No. My eyes were on Mrs. Burtman."
